And like I can't blame AUR/Gentoo/NixOS much because chromium quite means having a build server or a workstation with enough free ressources.

@bonifartius @lanodan Aren't Slackbuilds just scripts that download the source and compile from it locally anymore?
@bonifartius As in always or you optionally can grab recipe+source like in *all* binary-based distros?
@lanodan i only see nwjs on slackbuilds.org not in the package list. slackbuilds.org is like aur.
@lanodan http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware64-current/source/ (for -current) is where the sources for slackware-the-distribution are
