@bonifartius it's clear that these people are only utilitarian/ecologically conscious when it comes to certain computationally intensive things (crypto, AI) and not others (social media, folding@home)--the environmentalism is disingenuous and the real reason they oppose certain types of computation is because they don't like the people who are doing it
