Most likely there NEVER WAS any gold. Bankers are selling gold that doesn't even exist and running up prices into a big bubble that's about to pop. I also think some of the gold commemorative coins are a lower gold content than advertised, because who is going to scratch a pretty commemorative coin and lower the value to find out. They just believe.

@Grandtheftautism @IAMAL_PHARIUS the gold bars one can buy can be fake too. i think there was a story with fake gold bars a while back.
i think @istvan@noagendasocial.com did recommend to buy precious metals as droplets used for goldsmithing as no bullshit alternative.
