there’s a way to disable keyboard shortcut for individual sites on firefox but is there a way to disable it by default?

Setting javascript.enabled to falseshould do it, @xarvos. I think permissions.default.shortcuts (with 2 for DENY_ACTION) used to be the semantic way, but that does not work for me at all, presumably because pages are now listening to key press events?

@cnx i still want to use javascript, because the particular pages that overwrite shortcuts don’t work w/o javascript, but i suppose setting that permission should work too

@xarvos @cnx on X11 you could look into if you can grab that event in your window manager but doing nothing so it doesn't even arrive at firefox.
