The NY Times has a long article today about Starling and Elon Musk. Nice animations showing where all the satellites are, both Starlink and others. The last one shows how many satellites there would be if all 7 proposed internet systems are built: 42,000 satellites!
@bwbeach Thanks for sharing! A lot of astronomers I work with have been discussing how little this article talked about safety/collision issues, and almost nothing about light pollution - but glad they focused a lot on how bad it is for one dude to control orbit. But that's where we are now.
