The import of my #goodreads books into #bookwyrm finished overnight, yay! There were like 14 books in Goodreads that Bookwyrm couldn't find (it seemed to be suggesting that most of them might be Fellowship of the Ring, which is odd), but that's not bad.

Am I really in the process of reading this many books?
Yipes lol.
@ceoln I'm glad I'm not the only one who had books imported that confused Bookwyrm into thinking they were by Tolkien. (I imported from StoryGraph but I'd imported from Goodreads to there about a year ago and I'm still using SG along with Bookwyrm.)
Ha, I guess Tolkien is just the Default Book. :)
I've never used any of these systems very consistently. What I really need is a little drone that flies around the house and catalogs all of the books and reminds me which ones I've forgotten I'm in the middle of reading, and can find ones that I've lost.
Somehow none of these web sites have that feature. XD
Ha, so much this! :)
(Both sales, and the fact that 90% of the time anything I think of is available from an indie used-book store somewhere for like $1.99 plus shipping anyway...)
@jmccyoung
Ooh, excellent advice! I might even remember. :)
@ceoln I always check Bookfinder.com or viaLibri.net (or both) before buying new, even from a publisher on sale. Then again, I'm sometimes surprised to see books for sale direct from publishers for less than I see them listed even used at sites like those.
