Imaginary Linux Distribution: Lefty Linux

Where all scrollbars are on the left by default, so when you use a pen input device, you can actually see what you are scrolling, instead of looking at your arm.

Isn't it FOSS, hence communism, hence lefty by default? Just ask Steve Ballmer.

@cweickhmann yes, and that's a good thing, but I still can't see anything, when my arm blocks the display.
@michel_slm @cweickhmann that's interesting. Any idea why? Like, what was the reasoning behind it?

@daniel @cweickhmann not sure - maybe someone else knows? I like their menu though (you get it by middle or right clicking IIRC, and it appears where your mouse is. Apple regressed by keeping classic macOS' top menu bar in macOS)

@michel_slm @daniel The problem with clicking on the desktop to get a menu is that the desktop needs to be exposed.

@freakazoid @daniel IIRC you can click within the app too (so maybe it's middle click), but my memory is rusty, it's been 13 years
