Welcome to #CrossBorderRail - Day 03
Today I’m going to be crossing these borders:
🚲 Neuenhaus 🇩🇪- Coevorden 🇳🇱
I’m going to be taking 6 trains (total 364km), 1 bus (22km), and a cycle leg Twist - Coevorden - Neuenhaus (53km)

Oldenburg - Cloppenburg - Osnabrück is how a branch line ought to run
Stopping trains with a regular schedule. Used by all sorts of people (there have been kids going to school, building workers going to work, a couple going off on holiday on board)
Oh and the train manager is funny and helpful, and is helping people with all sorts of queries…
Not my train today, but this is a solid #CrossBorderRail regional service - RB 61 Hengelo 🇳🇱 to Bielefeld 🇩🇪. Here at Osnabrück Altstadt.

Two bags fewer for my bike leg (over 50km!) today - @deanerschnitzel helped me work out where to leave my bags at Rheine. So the heavy stuff is there until later - as I’m passing back through Rheine later on
That’s what’s wonderful about social media - people you don’t even know help you solve problems!
