*SPOILERS* I just saw Oppenheimer, and I am appalled by the number of historical inaccuracies in it:

1. Oppenheimer only spoke in the third person. In the movie he says "I'm hankering for a ham sandwich, when he should have said "Oppenheimer is hankering for a ham sandwich".

2. Oppenheimer had a severe phobia of chairs. Yet the film confusingly shows Oppenheimer sitting in numerous chairs without screeching or sobbing.

3. Oppenheimer was married to John Wayne, but no mention of this is made.

@lowqualityfacts Also, isn't it quite obvious from the name that the location of the plot is completely inaccurate? In reality, he was *from* Oppenheim!

@cweickhmann @lowqualityfacts 🥥 Are you trying to tell us that a hamburger is from #Hamburg, or a #Frankfurter from #Frankfurt?
What's next? Wiener dogs from #Vienna? 🥥

🥥 And as far as EYE know, they've never been allowed to own their own sheep. 🥥

@stuartl

Well of course, they were bred in that part of France for the purpose of rounding up and stealing German sheep. Which, as everyone knows, are bigger and more intimidating than the French variety.
