As more mainstream media open accounts here on Mastodon, try to follow them. As they build up audiences here, it will make it easier for them to abandon that Xhit site over there.

@elliots @cweickhmann @lemonde In my understanding and experience it’s still worth following dormant accounts. It signals (growing) interest and hopefully leads to reactivation. Finally, it doesn’t cost anything.
@cweickhmann @lemonde Nope, on 25 July 2023 they posted “Bonsoir”. 🤦♂️ I have hope that the folks (@CorentinLamy @flrnd @martu @flrnd@mastodon.social @dll ) from Le Monde / Pixels ( @pixelsfr) will be able to reactivate the main account. 🤞
@cumulonimbus @cweickhmann It's not up to us (at @pixelsfr) to decide whether to reactivate the @lemonde account, but in any case, we've passed on the credentials to those who have that authority!
