'Discussions now taking place at the World Health Organization seek to reach consensus on a new pandemic agreement. The intention is to learn from mistakes made during Covid-19 to better prepare for the future. Everything Western public health has done versus SARS-COV-2 has been an abysmal failure. Even the vaccine became an agent of the disease in that it encouraged governments to abandon NPIs without proper consideration of the long term consequences of infection. The only thing they've done is learn how to downplay the unmitigated spread of a manageable disease.
