McCarthy's opponents have no specific complaints about McCarthy.
They just don't like him.
And McCarthy has no specific rationale for being Speaker.
He just wants power.

@darryl @juddlegum He's not the only candidate. Candidates don't even need to be House members to be elected speaker of the house. At some point he'll grant enough concessions to appease members, someone else will get a majority or the House exist in limbo without a Speaker.
