Curious as to what the justification is for having gendered chess categories in the first place, because literally the only thing I can think of ultimately amounts to they believe women are innately stupid.
@stavvers It's not that women are stupid. They're not. The *average* IQ of men and women is the same.
But the normal distribution is different. Men's is significantly wider, meaning there are more men with very low IQ, but also more men with very high IQ. This results in more men being successful in chess.
