I feel pity for anyone who is in any way dependent on the Microsoft corporation. It is a dystopia of disempowerment and ineptitude I wouldn't wish on anyone.
@lightweight Should the growing influence of typescript in the javascript ecosystem be counted as MS cancer?
@extrn I've avoided using TypeScript thus far because it's tainted by MSFT. That said, things that are properly FOSS (not just OSS, i.e. weakly licensed open source), are ok, even if MSFT is involved, but I'd assess it on a case-by-case basis.

@lightweight Haha, I am avoiding it too, but the LSP server that I use (with emacs) cmpels me to specify types everywhere :) I think at some point I'll switch. I just hope its not made by the same guys with C#. C# was horrible.
