@freemo I'm confused.
I want to follow @maccdog but in the Qoto web interface it says "follow request sent".
What is the other end meant to do ? Did I misunderstand something ?

@falken Yeah, check the about page of a server and scroll down to see a list of moderated servers.
If they hide who they are blocking, that's a red flag as they're probably blocking half the Fediverse at that point.
