I’m finally going to ask if this is a shared experience, or just me. As background, I virtually always have captions/subtitles enabled, including on YouTube, where the captions are invariably auto-generated. My primary language is English, and all devices are set to such.

For years now — literally years — virtually every video I watch briefly displays, in moments of no audible speech (but present background noise), the word “foreign”. Exactly like that; lowercase, as a fragment.

Anyone else?
