Are there any closed source programming languages?
i.e. ones where the compiler / interpreter is only available in binary form?
@Edent Adobe ColdFusion. Microsoft SQL and Office macros.
@falken good examples.I thought Macros were part of OOXML (which, I know, is debatable as to its openness.)
@Edent also Intel and AMD microcode. Whatever runs on the Pi GPU. Apple Silicon hardware.
CleverLibre Social is an inclusive social instance for open discussion, learning, and community. All cultures welcome. Hate speech and harassment strictly forbidden.
@falken good examples.
