Everyone insists this APC will fix all my problems but jeepers!! It is so large!! And heavy!! It is a size and form factor I would normally associate with like, a PC. I would love a PC this size and shape. And the plugs are all inconveniently in the back and there aren't very many of them
Maybe I should have got one of them "power conditioners" with the big capacitors instead of the batteries. I didn't even learn those existed until I'd already ordered the APC
I don't understand how to set up the APC. It comes partially disassembled for safety reasons and you have to open it up and connect a wire. I do not understand what I'm supposed to be plugging into what :( the …strangely shaped cable is …supposed to fit the tab? Into it?
The internet turns up many people expressing frustration with this same thing, as well as many explanations simply explaining that you plug it in.

My computer boots!! My computer boots and I have no idea what changed. I unplugged everything from the motherboard and plugged it back again. It feels weird that made a big difference. But now it's plugged into the app so maybe that will make it happy forever and not break again. Or maybe it will break again in two days.
Also the fan sounds like it's making a very soft rattling noise and I don't feel like it did that before. Maybe I just listened to too much drone music and got sensitive
I am happy my computer boots up and deeply anxious that on any given day the computer I depend on for work could abruptly stop working regardless of what my plans for that day were
