So I'm like, today I will set up a public web archive of my old Twitter account so I can take the old one down. And so I hunt down my final Twitter archive dump.

It is twenty gigabytes.

M…maybe I have that much space on a VPS somewhere?? Hm.

Current status: Converting Darius Kazemi's twitter export tool to run on the command line rather than in a browser

Okay so uh… noob question but this isn't a part of npm I've done so much with… I'm adding a script to npm package.json scripts… docs.npmjs.com/cli/v6/using-np

npm scripts documentation says:

"Scripts are run by passing the line as a script argument to sh."

What happens if you run it on Windows?

Can I set the scripts to be written in JavaScript instead of sh (so that I can run them without thinking about what platform they're running on?)

@mcc It is perpetually vexing to me how easy it is to make NPM packages platform-specific, almost outright encouraging (and certainly at least indulging) practices from devs that undermine the main advantages of everything being in JavaScript.

@keithzg @mcc corporate mono culture breeds this. We have Windows, Mac and Linux and so have to be aware!
