People be all like, "keep all your physical media, streaming companies are evil (true) and they'll randomly drop things in the future (true)", but I live in a pretty small space and I'm starting to conclude that its more important to prioritize the usage of space for my creativity than for consumption
@recursive I don't know you can just keep digital copies of things. it never made sense to me to keep physical media unless it was actually rare.

storage is very inexpensive and becomes cheaper every year.
I've gotten to the point where I keep everything and all backups are fully incremental. sure it eats disk but I have so much disk it doesn't matter anymore.
