Just installed #MediaGoblin written by @cwebber
I have a question. so Mastodon and MedialGoblin both use ActivityPub, so can they interact? What are some ways they can interact with each other?
I was thinking there would be a way to subscribe to a user on MediaGoblin from Mastodon and see their new media uploads directly in my stream. But that doesnt seem to be the case, if so, anyone know how?
@freemo @raucao MediaGoblin was the whole reason I got into working on ActivityPub, but MediaGoblin's current federation branch is pre-activitypub. But (ironically?) I'm currently working on some other things, but that doesn't preclude activitypub being in mediagoblin. More on what I'm doing right now in this interview: https://medium.com/we-distribute/faces-of-the-federation-christopher-allan-webber-on-mediagoblin-and-activitypub-24bbe212867e
@freemo @cwebber Since when does MediaGoblin use ActivityPub?
