Hi @freemo, please tell me why there is not a "delete account" button in the account settings. I also tried to visit https://qoto.org/settings/delete but it's redirected to the home page.

@sd because we have had several users who deleted accounts without knowing it could not be reversed and lost years of posts that could not be recovered.

Because of this the moderators will delete any accounts that a user requests be deleted, they just need to confirm it via the email they signed up with.

If you would like your account deleted just send an email requesting deletion and mentioning that you are aware that the deletion can not be reversed to one of our moderators and we will delete your account right away. Make sure you use the email you signed up with.
