The pure Cannabidiol (CBD) arrived today. Lab tested at 99.58% purity. Will be perfect for the chemistry experiment i had been planning to do for everyone to demonstrate the semisynthesis of CBD to THC. I just need to check to make sure i have enough hexane and i should have the supplies needed.
@freemo Hope you write some reports before trying out the synthesis results, lol.. 😜
@design_RG I'd be doing the experiment entirely for the benefit of sharing it (I havent consumed THC in a while now, though on rare occasion I might partake).
My plan is to video each step, create a video as well as do a writeup I can share on the forum.
Just checked. I am low on safety gear like gloves, and apparently one of my Acid bottles is leaking (as you can imagine really really not good). So I have to clean up some stuff first. I also need to order some hexane.
So might be a slow process, and I will update people every step along the way. but I'll get there.
I will probably make an exception and consume some of the end result just to show everyone it is safe. The rest I will keep in the freezer for the next time I have a party in a decade or two :)
