In every respect it could be a profitable business, ive given it much thought before. Except for one, regulation. My guess would be that it would be treated more like a pharmaceutical since it is a semi-synthesis rather than a simple extraction. Presuming that is a valid assumping it turns something that could have been very profitable into something that probably isnt worth it at all.
@freemo Oooh, if you got under FDA regulations for prescription medicines it would be a nightmare.
Maybe operate as a process and sell the finished oil. Based in Canada or another jurisdiction that allows for this without much lawyering.
@design_RG Yea I'd have to figure out the laws and regulations to see if there is a viable location.. since I'm literally synthesizing a chemical I would imagine almost any location would tree it as a pharmecutical. Even Canada would likely regulate it as such (just speculating).
