@peterpur id say this post is pretty accurate. Privatized power has and continued to work fairly well compared to public equivelant.
@freemo i don't agree, and josef stiglitz with me (or the other way around): https://rooseveltinstitute.org/2021/07/26/the-harms-of-infrastructure-privatization-a-step-backward-in-progressive-policymaking/ i think that it would be much better to think about how to do communal infrastructure better.
@peterpur if you have specific points you want to make feel free and ill be happy to discuss. I have little interest in reading the opinions of some random person who isnt in the conversation however
@freemo be careful who you call »some random person«, as josef stieglitz was chief economist of world bank and received the a nobel price in economics in 2001… maybe their opinion is more worth discussing than mine.
