Who do you guys think could replace #TuckerCarlson?
My leading theories:
#BillOreilly - He's done it before; while he lacks some of the same energy he's had before, his ol' ticker is still working
#MattTaibbi - A lot of #TuckerCarlson's fanbase likes him now
#TulsiGabbard - Over the past year she's solidified herself as a solid fill-in host
#GuyBenson - People seem to like him, I guess
@realcaseyrollins Are you asking who should replace him, or who probably will?
@freemo A bit of both, but mostly who probably will replace him. I'm leaning towards #TulsiGabbard but IDK
@realcaseyrollins Tulsi is actually somewhat reasonable and cool headed.... so while Id like to see that choice im not sure they would stand a chance with the usual shit-show of insults and bad manners that usually defines fox.
@realcaseyrollins Sure makes sense to me... But rational people like us arent the audience. Fox has consistently had hot-heads prevail, its clearly what the audience wants.
Bill Oreily seemed pretty staunch right too.
Truth is from a purely profits perspective keep fox on the far-right is probably the smarter move. I mean they are one of the most popular news agencies in the usa, so why mess with success?
@freemo Fair enough; I don't know if before #BillOreilly, that 8 PM timeslot was held by someone who wasn't right wing.
@realcaseyrollins Im not sure anyone on fox news in a very long time, in any time slot, wasnt right wing. Some more right than others mind you.
@freemo Hopefully they don't pick anyone farther right than #TuckerCarlson. Although someone like that who's also TV-ready and TV-safe might be hard to find anyways.
@realcaseyrollins One would hope...
@freemo Well, I'm curious to see where #FoxNews decides to go. #DanBongino left #FoxNews last week, now #TuckerCarlson... #FoxNews has an opportunity to shift their coverage back towards the center if they wish. I mean, when #BillOreilly was replaced by #TuckerCarlson, that was certainly a lurch to the right.
