How does none of this apply? Being accurate is just as important in close quarters as elsewhere... more so due to the risk of collatoral damage... Why would you argue for a less accurate more dangerous weapon just because someone is closer, what is that gaining you?
And I take it you never shot? missing man sized targets at 10 meters is **very** common, particularly under high stress scenarios. When i go to the range if i take the time to aim and and slow and focused I can hit a bullseye at 10 meters no problem... With someone else shooting at me with adrenalin rushing and a slit second to shoot, there is a **very** high chance I will miss a few even at 10 meters (even cops miss under those conditions and they are very well trained)... Now with an AR im much less likely to miss in that scenario.
But again im confused why you feel a less accurate weapon is somehow in my favor just because its closer? What would i be gaining by using it?
