@TruthSandwich Yea, we arent really mastodon, we are a fork. We plan to add in editing support but since it was implemented in a non-standard way we are waiting to see if/how a standard evolves and adopt that rather than adopt a hacked non-standard that is likely to change when the standard is defined.

Pleorma defined a way to do it that was much better (and works with us) so I suspect they are more likely to be the standard.
