LOL.. I pointed out the fact that Biden started his career supporting segregation... This is a pretty established fact, even the democrats dont usually dispute it... lol this moron however clearly doesnt know what the word "fact" means.
Well I'd be happy to explain it to him if he didnt insta-block.
And yes people do change their position sometimes. Sadly Biden has never given any indication he was remorseful. He has never made a public apology, certainly not a meaningful heartfelt one... In fact all I saw him do since then is exploit minorities by hiring them in a bid to improve his image and win an election, and it worked.
@lonelyowl Yea, exactly, rather than actually owning up to his mistake and demonstrating an iota of remorse he did what I said... exploited people and cared more about gaining power than actually righting what he did wrong... bonus points for the fact that he is now exploiting minorities to do it.
@freemo Well, it does sound a lot like this "must vote democrat" to stave off the lunacy of current rep politics.
You often assert that third party candidates can be elected, but you overlook the emotional states of people. There is a very real threat (the current rep stance on many things), and people are scared. What do you think people that feel threatened do? Assess possibilities calmly and try to pick the best option?
Not realistic. Trigger fight or flight, get fight or flight.
And let's not forget the US is world leader, amongst other things, in position politics over contents.
@admitsWrongIfProven Yea I mean, look there is no doubt they whipped themselves into a frenzy and is in an irrational state of mind.
Thing is you are still accountable for how you act even when your being emotional. If people go to jail for drunk driving (when their reasoning is literally impaired) I see no reason to hold people accountable to their actions in any other state.
Also, he can vote however the hell he wants, I never gave him a hard time for his choices.. but apparently he has an issue with other people not voting for shit heads.
@freemo Well, now you focus on the individual without considering the environment.
I have been baffled by US conditions, like having to work two jobs (or more) to make a life for a long time. And from what i hear, it gets worse, not better.
So, not saying blocking people or panicing was a productive thing to do, but is it not understandable that people go into emergency mode in emergency conditions?
Don't expect calm reactions from someone under extreme stress. You might have carved out a nice niche in the world, but i would posit that you are not the norm.
Don't hate the player, hate the game i guess.
@admitsWrongIfProven the environment leading him or anyone to be emotional is perfectly understandable.. and being stressed is too.. but you are still responsible for how you act... and look if he came back later and apologized he would be good withme of course, partly because i consider the environment. But a person still should be judged on how they act.
Claiming "I only got drunk because the environment im in is a frat house, so its ok that i killed someone when driving" doesnt work either... your environment, while may shed some light on actions, doesnt get you out of your actions in my eyes.
@freemo Well, he blocked you. Understandable that you are pissed, sure. But his right - leaving is the correct reaction if one is not rational.
For some reason, if someone initially advocated something bad, but later admitted they were wrong and refused, it is considered shameful. Although, in my opinion, it means on the contrary that a person is capable of some kind of development and negotiable.
You could try to explain it to him 😀
