@cobratbq TRANSIENT means existing for a short time...as in, the RNA will eventually be gone.
@freemo yeah, ... you confirm what I suspected all along. Given the function of mRNA it is to be expected. That is, I expected given only some elementary knowledge. So it's nice to see some confirmation. You know what bothers me .. why is there so little information on it to dispell the fears I have seen strewn (I think I use the verb correctly?) around the internet. D4CE focuses on other aspects and I don't recall, in scanning through it, that this was addressed. (I could be wrong)
@freemo I am not sure I can derive the exact meaning of transient in this context. I assume you mean that it isn't persistent, e.g. keeps replicating so maintains threshold level presence, but instead it disappears over some (unspecified, possibly unknown and/or deviating per person) amount of time.
(I know I am making much more of your answer, but I am trying to put it in words in the way I place it into my limited understanding.)
