We are a STEM based instance. All our members are STEM professionals, researchers, or to a lesser extent enthusiasts.

Something like half us are research scientists, maybe 30%. Myself included (worked on COVID the last few years).

Our primary philosophy is to engage everyone with respect and dignity, especially those we disagree with.

That along with our STEM focus I'd say probably makes the most noticeable quoality on our time line a lack of toxicity and a level of comfort so people dont need to feel paranoid if what they say might be taken incorrectly.

Sexism and racism and stuff like that is strictly moderated.
