@RushGirl That seems like a pretty poor analogy... Two sides both disagreeing on a bill or law, and thus holding up the government, is not the same as some random people blocking traffic.

Not saying the republicans are innocent, but to think the democrats are sooo willing to compromise and make bipartisan efforts and its the republicans who are to blame is just not the truth.. both sides are polarized, neither side compromises anymore.

@freemo @RushGirl One side is trying to shut down the government in order to protect their indicted crime lord. So no, you don't get to equivocate.

That is true..

Doesnt change the fact that any 5 people could have voted for the bill an we wouldnt be at a stand still... So why blame the only 5 republicans who didnt vote for it, and caused a deadlock, and not the 210+ democrats? Seems to me the democrats wanted this deadlock MORE than the republicans, but a pretty large margin.
