"Electricity always takes the path of least resistance"

This is probably the most damaging phrase a future EE could ever hear... it has caused so many students to fail to learn basic concepts by clinging on to an inaccurate "fact"

For me I rmeember as a young kid 11 or 12 i was trying to learn advanced EE on my own and I couldnt get past a basic understanding because this idea was at odds with the reality and i couldnt reconcile my new more accurate teachings against the bad understanding i had.

Wasnt till i pushed through and got to the more advanced math I knew this was all a lie. Instead the truth is electricity usually takes all paths available to it
