The Sony QX10 (2012) was essentially a lens & sensor to pair with your smartphone. The concept was beautiful but the price, timing, & software integration were all wrong. Could this be an idea whose time has come at last? Consider:
1. use your fancy photography lenses
2. vaguely “green” idea since it’s modular
3. How slim& well-designed could a phone be without cameras in it?
4. no more “inferior front selfie camera”
5. I’m imagining that it would come with the phone and be perma paired.

@futurebird Not sure #5 is the best approach, also not sure if this would sell... BUT, I would buy it. I am probably the exception, but I certainly would.
