Is there anything normal EU citizens can do to support the people in Ukraine right now? I don't even have the words for how horrified I even am that Russia is invading a sovereign state, and just saying that my thoughts go out to Ukraine feels empty.

Half-Ironically 'buy bitcoin' as a way for them to spend...?

@ainmosni
Half-Ironically 'buy bitcoin' because Ukraine legalized it and actually sorting out those banks messing everything they connect to in the long run will do it for peace... (which includes paying for both sides or war and supplying payment to those that want to arm up). Indeed it pay to war and is a war-enabler itself...

....so ok I feel better about this suggestion often it's too short-sighted to do anything long-term or not understood who or what is behind practically everything...

At least read up about it's current proof of concept (usage confirmed working and Ukraine legalized it recently)... so using it for next crisis if not now... as there is some 'system' or way all this war is being funded (again and again).

Also something very much like this because typical ways often fail... including these typical examples

- Aid via a Company and Banks works out as as another business / shell game / cover up / high % cut by the time it gets to other side

- " charity not change " (Chumbawumba quote)
Meaning money doesn't change things much and offenders or their patterns and predatory behaviour continue - the results of financial suppliers / take-advantage hunters / trouble-makers / system design / deliberate entrapment is continual never-ending as long as they exist to fund anything they can suck dry or hold as collateral )

My feelings are with those in war but it's more than this onion skin above..
