There is no such thing as ethical AI.
Almost all technology practice is wholly dependent on first principles conceived and popularised by an invasive and atomising school of libertarianism propped up by an expansionist society. These principles are deeply embedded. They will take generations to dismantle.
Every computer, server, switch or router exists thanks to the most sadistic supply chain ever imagined, a modern, silicon-based spice road of brutality. This supply chain is embedded - like a planetary cancer - and will take generation to dismantle.
Against these facts, framing our work within these systems as just or liberation is as deluded as decorating the wall of a prison cell and proclaiming this crude approximation of autonomy as freedom.
Debating the ethics of platforms and practice is a truly privileged act, a ballroom dance in a hall with a glass floor, where the charred bodies of workers, children, animals and landscapes lay underfoot.
All infrastructure is revolution. There are many pathways for liberation within these complex electric systems. But none of them are ethical. To see yourself and your infrastructures as ethical is to sit within a hierarchy of violence and erase the suffering of all beneath you.
Business takes advantage like individuals do - BOTH use tech in a very similar way...

Below is mostly what I wanted to type up so it's not perfect and fast as really I don't know if anyone bothers to read or interested in solving it (not saying they don't exist and not being negative at all)

Having everything being co-adapted / hijacked now (and for a long time) is more and more important not to get wrong... because it's going towards the matrix of bad - not the good - and perhaps that's always been the case but now with efficiency and speed of learning on their side vs. our unlearning things - it's now about sorting THIS as the main consideration perhaps before doing anything.
i.e. Not to do stuff if very high likelihood you upgrade your opponents at the same who have more resources and money AND me$$ things up quicker with our population that is frankly still learning and then needs to unlearn (like unlearning google but finding it hard to accept lesser quality and less all-you-can-eat stuff based on losing heavily; from the nature, to our own greed (and theirs) to the finances and politics... which is basically just simplified "them versus us" that applies to both sides - the mentality of controlling us and keeping us in corners versus open more-innocent world.
100% all a war or this mentality of command and conquer.

CONCLUSION / SOLUTION (?)
Must be something very ' full-proof ' which in tech rented or controlled by state means you always lose ... so my answer is people themselves... people upgrading their mind after we have tech to keep in contact (no much more). All else is extra or going away at the end... and for human-centric 'ISM' this contact and upgrading the glue between ourselves as humans is needed + emotionally sorting self out while sorting others just accept people aren't perfect (as Tech sell us that and we buy it 100% and can't stand people or see use for them after).
It's just about us doing the work, not tech after a minimum amount of messaging and audio chat - that is plenty to do the mental work (and also not get into new shiny troubles which tech offers and we have to unlearn and de-upgrade / get cut-off later on).
As the mentality of everyone is hardly trained, much more humility to be gained. Lots of us have examples of how we talk to each other other and don't - super important... underestimated and double-bad if time for that is not being used AND bad tech is.
Sorry if that's not it 100% but the beginning of video says it all.
Choose well to do anything as the old traditional idea of 'just do something' or 'let's make a project' or 'let's scale this up' doesn't fly well or the same now (if it ever did). We are learning it was always working more for them in taxes and funding their wars etc just now as a bigger % in all areas of input and output (literally).
So just we are seeing a better version of them on their side and need to do the mind work primarily. It is hard to show people not to use things or why long-term it's imprisonment for their children.

IT'S ABOUT US AS MUCH AS ANYONE ELSE
Just to kick a bit of brutal truth -
The mentality of people is war itself if you talk to them for more than 5mins.
It's contained but comes out eventually and unskilled at the worst times,
So it's within the average people I mean that we are warring (self and others and trying to balance that is terrible right now and 1 main reason for everything)
As soon as people don't have war, still they go back to mini-wars that are just as bad AND not training or realising these mini-wars close off and do many of the things you said very well (and I will re-read it later too).
Once we sort out the head all with be a bit more healthy and aligned. People mostly think and praise money (for survival reasons sure) but the same time need to work way out of using it as that is the war material (funding) itself which always funds something bad since those old mindsets and rules haven't changed and frankly why would they?,,,
