I wont say I believe in all conspiracies but I do have tape over my webcam on my laptop.
@MisterRogersSnapped They're all real, all of them.

But also they sell these little sliding covers that are pretty cool.
@p The fucked up thing is I am starting to think they are all real. Things I would have told someone they were crazy for believing 3 years ago I think are plausible now.
@MisterRogersSnapped Is it really that fucked up? Like, it's kind of a matter of your priors and a lot of stuff that doesn't seem plausible is only implausible because of what you know about the world, and what you know is just what you've seen, easy to confuse with what you've read or heard. Like, apparently since 1951 the House has fasces. Roman design from way back, I can understand it being part of older designs, the Mercury dime had fasces and an olive branch, but if you're putting a big bundle of sticks (with laurels rather than an olive branch in this case) on either side of the Speaker of the House in 1951, that's kind of a thing.

I'm not making it up: https://history.house.gov/Exhibitions-and-Publications/House-Chamber/Rostrum/ . They are pulling down Thomas Jefferson statues and nobody seems to notice that every State of the Union since 1951 was delivered right under the symbol that fascism was named after. (Put that in Operation Paperclip's pipe and smoke it.)

You wanna go hard on conspiracies, I've got a pet conspiracy lately. The CIA's who leaked the Watergate scandal and Gerald Ford leaked the CIA's "Family Jewels" documents, a list of all the shit they did that should have them at war crimes tribunals. No one remembers that leak, the only thing you hear about Ford is he fell down the stairs once and he pardoned Nixon. (Bernays was a very early member of the CIA and was friends with Dulles.) I think that entire thing may have been just interoffice politics. (Speaking of Ford's massive unpopularity, what are the big things Carter did? Cui bono'd? And after Carter, two terms of CIA VP and one term of CIA president.)

@MisterRogersSnapped Incidentally, War on Drugs, right? Where the CIA makes its money, the vehicle it uses to turn the knobs and levers in Mexico and South America? They're practically advertising it, it's not even a conspiracy theory, just an actual conspiracy. So we get CIA VP and he becomes CIA president and his big thing is tamping down on drugs. MKULTRA was 1953-1973, Tuskeegee was 1937-1972, who thinks they just *stopped* pulling this shit by 1981? Why *would* they?
@p The programs were rolled under new names. General public got too close to MK, the US was running parts of the program out of Canadian mental hospitals and the hospitals were sued. There were even reports that Mengele was running the program in Canada.

@MisterRogersSnapped @p “Mengele et al tortured me many times in many locations I have heard mentioned by other MKULTRA survivors including several hospitals here in the US and on military bases. The tortures included but were not limited to rapes, disjointing, killing animals and other children in front of me or being forced to watch as adults were tortured, electric shock, injections with LSD and anectidine and many other substances, cattle prod up the vagina or rectum, witnessed murders, occult rituals, many bizarre sex acts.”

2 legit

@Sunliver @p

I don't believe everything I read.

There were patients in Canada that won lawsuits over psychic driving experiments where their memories were wiped through insulin shock therapy (insulin induced coma) and having audio played to them 24 hours a day for weeks on end when they were in that state.

Was I there? No. There were lawsuits, though. The thing I find suspect is that there were mainstream news documentaries about the lawsuits.
@Sunliver @p The mainstream documentary from 1980

Sorry it's on a google product, I know how super popular that is.

One of the main doctors was at the Nuremberg Trials to examine Rudolph Hess.
