Capitalism seems to ecompass a big group doing it's thing but with specific bad tactics over individuals... greed seems more general more individually orientated smaller scale conscious choice individual behaviour or cluster of...
and @yassin comment did it really well in their reply! I wrote mine without seeing yassin said:
"Because capitalism refers to the systemic dimension while greed describes an individual trait, merely aiming at the psychological dimension."
NICE1 YASSIN.
btw Aral some perpective from my side about your post... A lot of time I never know with your posts if it's mostly for you that you're writing or actually you want longer answers to such short and even borderline ambiguous stuff (this post was clearer than the rich kids growing up post which isn't clear what you think 'rich kids growing up' means). Anyway why I mention this is that a post can seem both for yourself or FOR the public mainly... so might be worth signalling something if it's a throw away comment or really you're interested...
I guess being a popular person you have to ignore much of this and accept short isn't clear but also you would get more clarity in reply if clear initially and not after someone replies to you and you might say 'no I didn't mean that' or make a mess of things!)
So in another way it's TOO easy to ask short and then mention to any comment you might not like that it's too long or short or ''I didn't mean that' or think someone is being ''xyz''')... Not saying you do tell people that but help the sending like me also consider how deep you're into it or if you're own thinking space...
but anyway disclaimer aside that was my answer above and some perspective I noticed while thinking to answer or not you questions (or were they questions who knows! Rhetorical, deep, ?).
I might have to copy and paste a disclaimer for you posts until I'm a bit sure or learn your ways (if possible)... :) Least the replies on this were of quality and depth I like... thanks also to them
