The EU is gaslighting the world on sanctions by what I can only call reverse dead-parroting: they’re telling you the parrot is dead when it’s very much alive and screeching in your ear.

The parrot, in this case, is the financing of Russia.

@aral yes, it is cringe-worthy and shameful to say the least. Encouraging Ukraine to fight back, the world to tighten their belt, and meanwhile indirectly funding the war.

Most EU citizens are prepared to bear the consequence of a full energy boycott and governments and EU itself can help those that suffer most from such measure so that the burden is shared collectively.

Arming with verbal feathers and token gestures isn't the way to end this conflict.

What is hidden comes out occasionally stemming from
- existing bias
- lack of worldly awareness homework
- just judging too quickly overall
- expecting others to fix it rather than fix your own house / put you own house in order (as one of the ways to fix everything else)

Easy is to block people / cut off your own communication limbs to spite other people's faces.

True bravery in this sense - is currently lacking. Call it armchair politics or something similar.

Ok back to work for me - practising people / fixing each other! (of course those reading might say "I don't need fixing" which is much the same as "I'm quite perfect or not in need for you to test me I'm a grown adult"... ! Indeed !
