Today was a challenging day, and work and personally. I noticed my dog was walking a little off and chewing her foot. Took her to the vet. $800 later, I learn her hip joints are shot. Now need to figure out why. (Hip dysplasia, bone infection, bone cancer). And she has a tumor that likely needs to be removed.

Poor girl.

@jerry
If it's not too insensitive to honestly consider as a one avenue to let doggy go somehow nicely (sleep) I was wondering what you think about that- probably more in consideration if it's true troubles will reoccur and even cost (perhaps much down the list but yes costs too for further xyz check and big surgery and even similar situations down the lien repeating)
Total sympathies with dogo - probably should be written first, but at the same time if it's quite certain etc... well wondering what you thing (brain, heart, and both)
Thanks

@freeschool almost certainly, that’s going to happen. It’s about quality of life for her. If there’s a way I can help her to keep going and feel good, get around on her own, etc, I will do that. If not, I am not going to make her live a life of pain and suffering.

@freeschool I’m old. In my life, I’ve 3 dogs and 4 cats before Lacie (my dog) and Thor (my cat). I know too well what my duty to them is.
