Yes I agree. I generally try not to want to emulate / copy what doesn't work as a model (so Google / YouTube or whatever that sucks the living daylight from life to produce 24hours of accessible online video in each and every added hour in life!)

I apply a multi-weapon answer which others can use accordingly to this kind of preference ladder:

- use it all less
- use what I already have downloaded in the past (re-use and asking why I have it...)
- using the free way (which is definitely not the fast-food 24.7 all0you-can-eat hamburger model).
- Limiting to megabytes rather than giga (I refuse to watch only 720p of people just talking for 2hrs not moving much and using 2-3GB of space)
- more things I'll write up one day!

Mostly based on reducing consumption / accepting it was all a bit temporary / a bit of a turbo that can't last forever as it's killing energy faster :!
(accepting it was all inflated funny money / datacentres sucking up the villages water supply lol damn- yeah all that stuff!)

I use audio a lot as keep the human parts and yeah invidious if I'm more 'desperate' than my daily thing... as I store mostly offline music, video and want to work on this human things a bit more (see profile for more on that)
