STEM on the BigTech scale I think is tangibly questionable... BigTech / BigIndustry / Government vs Hobby extension which is from that...

STEM on the BigTech scale I think is tangibly questionable... because it is also political, but perhaps on the hobby scale or individual politics it's a bit better and doesn't seem political (once it's already been done by the government your in or all government together to allow it)... but overall that still needs BigTech to start it for hobbyists otherwise they couldn't even enter the hobbyist stage (perhaps with RadioShack offering electronic diodes and components on the high street).

It it would be different if Hobby-level was possible without BigTech (BigIndustry I mean probably) and we would need to stop ourselves turning into the next BigTech company which is ironic as it would be really tempting to do EXACTLY the same, even with best of intentions, to 'scale-up' which in my book is on par with fuck-up because you can't scale-up without doing this damage or needing to choose this way over that. And so here we are somewhat! and such things from start similar to PROJECT going back to ground up stuff seems to adjust and re-align EVERYTHING... :)

I think it's easy to say one doesn't like something because not every is knowing 100% what it is or perhaps the sub-categories are ok like 'hobby'-tech being ok or much less harmful

Also I considered "demographer Michael S. Teitelbaum criticized the efforts of the U.S. government.... since World War II to increase the number of scientists and engineers, all of which he stated ultimately ended up in "mass layoffs, hiring freezes, and funding cuts"; including one driven by the Space Race of the late 1950s and 1960s, which he wrote led to "a bust of serious magnitude in the 1970s." and probably is the same now unless you are in a similar space race, AI thing, algorithm master for the dark side (airline tickets), or anything else that just gets money.

I dunno how do you see this BigIndustry vs. Hobby thing (isn't it the same just Hobby a small branch of until they make serious money like from graphics cards?)
