can't beat the computer
- at chess
- at most things...
can't beat the humans you can't see / touch
can't beat the humans you can't see / touch + with computers backing them
In this context,
can't beat =
- the repetitive, day or night, timed, high frequency
- what can measures time and calculates faster than you
- requires lower energy than you
- engages other human resources [like surveillance]
- engages other humans [like enforcement]
- are paid for by people's taxes
- are not paying you and trying to make it harder
This is my awareness in anything computer field... as much as I like to spend lot of time as I started- you do have to wonder if it's not the same as when you first got it... just a hope it would transform you.
Perhaps I'll drop using computers in the future and something better / more humanly passed on.
Directly human seems important for us all (including those thinking computers are 'for the way' which they still could be but on the sliding scale back to humans I would think otherwise we won't get out of the tech-trap / technocracy / technocrats that sell out constantly and get flipped suddenly like a Go stone from light to dark).
