@allhub Did Einstein really say:

"The human spirit must prevail over technology."?

Wonder where that was?

And also if he meant the human spirit for being mean or being nice |;>

If people are mean or nice factors into Technology which is not even imagined by a lot of STEM... probably considered neutral or not our responsibility to consider the construct we people / we STEM are in if always in the hands of bad government either way,

STEM is similar to Einstein to helping Atomic bombs happen... which may have started innocently but in the end he helped the programs for war and also expressed regret at one or two points.

Oh Einstein so innocent ^^ but of course others up the ante so not all on you. But you were key, both in giving to the uneducated and in the helping of war... regardless of others threatening they have it or would use it (I might just choose to be nuked if they had it rather than make more nukes). Hard to say all the money and time and still we have them.

This post has small pokes at Einstein but does have similar things playing out every day to people creating even more stuff, even if it's less than nuclear fission they are creating - it's important because everything little thing can and will be used against YOU!... or those abroad.
And just takes one more invention to make more surveillance or aggressive advertising happen.

There is obviously more context and the fine lines here of helping of war and a lose:lose situation perhaps for Einstein... other than letting us do what we'd do (and are doing now) and get it over with and let planet recover earlier.
