I was thinking maybe kids would anyway have to go through all the phases teach themselves what to go for ... even as adults we struggle and addiction is like living and doing repetitive things so it's only about choosing what addictions one has....

So the faster technological ways show earlier and maybe more brutally (like having notifications on) about how to have restraint and limit life and tech yourself (else they will steal your time and soul) and even though this may be the hard and fast way, it actually might get kids (and adults) to those realisations earlier too if not further past a point the more primitive people were to awoken to ... also the education today is much more so I hope for that to win while not asking for any more tech AT ALL
(we got what we need and it's more than enough if we indeed are able to use it well and for good rather than increase the bad extra-ordinarily bad... again!)

People do get tired eventually so I think I'm going for that too in kids where they have to find what's special.. ( themself !) <--- spoiler alert
