A mixed bag this evening - shockingly the SNK pad works, not even one microswitch has failed. The MZ-6500 seems to turn on, unfortunately I’ve thus far failed to get any video from it
I feel incredibly stupid for not noticing two floppy drives on the front, in my partial defence they are very well camouflaged

Exactly - don't blame you since floppy drives are usually horizontal and also without inbuilt-fascia design - camouflage indeed!
Half expect more things like the whole using to open up and fold out with one or two hinges - you never know ! [the transformers sound fx plays in my mind]
