Found a #WordPress plugin with a nice social links feature that includes options to list your #Mastodon, #PixelFed, and a ton of other services: https://wordpress.org/plugins/powerkit/
(Even Delicious, lol. The domain is completely dead 😔)
It can be added to menus and widgets. I use it in a couple places on Finer Tech, including the Follow menu at the top and in the footer: https://finertech.com
@chartier
What happens when you a page with lots of pictures (guessing it's not going to insert pictures in between text but also mastodon can do infinite text so is this for text mostly or 1-4 pics per post?)
Thanks.
@freeschool I’m not sure I understand the question. My post was about a WordPress plugin that can display a bunch of small social media icons on your site. It can be placed in any part of a WordPress theme that supports menus or widgets.
You can see an example of it on my personal site, at the top of the left sidebar here: https://chartier.land/blog/
Does this answer your question?
@chartier
Thanks, and welcome to share anything in passing.
@freeschool @chartier for texts between pictures, a proper blogging platform makes more sense. @writefreely comes to mind for that.
@freeschool Ah I see. No I’m not familiar with anything like that, however I think there are some forks or spinoffs of #Mastodon such as Pleroma. But I know nothing about them.
