SOCIETY IS POLITE TO THE EXTENT OF SELF-CENSORSHIP ?

- A HIDDEN KIND OF PROBLEM SOCIETY SUFFERS

So it's polite people being so polite that goes in the self-censoring spectrum!

oK ! Nailed it for the short version!

EXTENDED / DETAILS BELOW

Hard to imagine that censorship can also be about self-censorship (!) and that's where YOU, the other person I mean or any reader, can stop conversation from happening purely by going too inward. WTF ! THAT IS STRANGE / NOT OBVIOUS !!! Especially as a message is 'fire and forget' so if I send a question or comment asking, it's hard to track who didn't answer sometimes (similar to who you lent your book too lol - it's trusting people will at least say something and I think society / my experience says people are doing this often)

SELF-AGGRESSION?
If you see someone being outwardly aggressive in your face it's easy to see (also can be complex but it's visible)
This is why I appreciate and even love aggressive people because they get their accusation out and then you can adjust the problem (which even includes identifying why people are so nervous themselves anyway with or without you being there or talking to them)

BUT this kind of INWARD politeness is also aggression to one's self it seems! (and that can make self-conflict and internally more feelings (so it's not just my fault for existing lol) it's also the impatience someone might naturally have, expectations, or lots of stuff to make people want to jump out of a window / close your message and skip it!)

THAT IS VERY INTERESTING
(SUMMARY)
I guess you see it in kids when they don't answer (though they have more reasons or fear not to and as adult surely we could say why or even say "I'm not sure why but I have feelings").
