one more thing: tonight I had a moment where it felt like the vision of a cooperative digital future worked in a very small way. I called my parents on mayfirst's jitsi instance. By organizing together in this place, social.coop, we decided to contribute to a larger org, mayfirst, and share resources. I didn't need a password or anything, we are part of a network of groups making abundance, rather than scarcity online.

tiny steps. many more to go. but cooperation works.
