"Demand DRM" is not really a choice from mass producers who aren't interested, so it's more like "Ditch / replace Hollywood" -a lot more reality to DRM or NON-DRM - maybe best just to add links and silos?!
@astrr The problem of this pic, which I initially liked a while back, is that it might suggest either way you arer a criminal so continue basically what you're doing... as main bulk of picture syggests and then small choice at end
TLDR = So I think links to DRM-FREE / NON-DRM media works best and the education around it / part of it's intro or along the way on pages etc.
Pictures or education like thus seem to expect viewer to learn this new topic 'DRM' (those that know already know) at the same time as making the ambigious decision. Not much possible unless audienc ("and the what" is my thought pretending to be less experienced in DRM)
To those who use already ogg or rip etc, fine.
To learn in short picture and expect balance and and answer at same time is asking too much / picture could be better.
"Demand DRM" is also not really a choice from those mass producers who aren't interested or going to change (which maybe picture tries to cleverly suggest and risk totally overshoiting) so it's more like:
"Ditch / replace Hollywood" which is a lot more reality and could be better in picture to show NON-DRM silos as addictions/entertainment needs replacing and the ideals of NON-DRM creators right?
So pump those things as well as better/clear reasoning maybe along the way ( practically it doesn't matter fir ignirant users ir thise learning as long as there is good stuff to watch and then realise more...)
ok yes it does matter but not really for beginners who your asking to switch over from watching and not giving examples.
Hollywood does make an art of capturing its market and watchers but we could distract / direct people a lot better to something else while adding DRM-FREE sticker to art cover or next to download links.
TLDR = So I think links to DRM-FREE / NON-DRM media works best and the education around it / part of it's intro or along the way on pages etc.
